Jon lives in London with his long time girlfriend Alison, but he is a proud Yorkshire man at heart. Born and raised in Hull until he left to take a place at drama school in 1989. But it nearly never happened, after leaving school at 16 Jon was offered an apprenticeship with British Aerospace and worked there for nearly 6 years before realising he could no longer ignore his love of acting (Or face the daily grind of aircraft manufacturing). His announcement to leave a good job for the ups and downs of an actors life was a shock to many, but one that was fully supported by his family. It was a very tough decision at the time, but one that he has never regretted for even a second. His mother still lives in Hull, his father sadly passed away a few years ago and his older brother now lives in Spain.

As well as an actor Jon is also a professional photographer, shooting actors portraits as well as theatre, film stills, live bands and all manner of performers. A section of his work can be seen in the gallery area.

Jon is also a keen writer of short poems, ranging from dark and subversive to silly tales for children. I will be adding some recording of these to my AUDIO section as soon as I get a chance to record them. (Just added the 1st one : )
